omnichannel CLI

The official command-line interface for omnichannel.cx wraps the site's anonymous agent surface: semantic search, page-as-Markdown fetch, and the MCP server. No keys, no account, nothing to configure. The full API reference lives on the developer docs.

Install

npm install -g @omnichannel-cx/cli
# or run without installing:
npx @omnichannel-cx/cli search "cx maturity"

Requires Node.js 20 or later.

Commands

  • omnichannel search <query> [--limit 1-10] [--json] - semantic + keyword site search
  • omnichannel page <url-or-path> - fetch a page as clean Markdown
  • omnichannel tools - list MCP tools
  • omnichannel call <tool> 'json-args' - invoke any MCP tool
  • omnichannel resources / omnichannel read <uri> - browse MCP resources
omnichannel search "CX maturity review" --limit 3
omnichannel call search_site '{"query":"AI readiness","limit":2}'
omnichannel read https://omnichannel.cx/llms.txt

MCP server

The site's read-only MCP server runs remotely over Streamable HTTP at https://omnichannel.cx/mcp - point any MCP-capable client straight at it:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "omnichannel": { "type": "http", "url": "https://omnichannel.cx/mcp" }
  }
}

For clients that only speak stdio, the @omnichannel-cx/mcp package proxies stdio to the remote server:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "omnichannel": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@omnichannel-cx/mcp"] }
  }
}

Python SDK

The omnichannel-cx package on PyPI wraps the same anonymous surface for Python and agent frameworks:

pip install omnichannel-cx

from omnichannel_cx import search, get_page
results = search("contact centre AI", limit=3)
markdown = get_page("/services")

Source

The tools ship from the omnichannel-com GitHub org. Everything they call is documented in openapi.json - the CLI and SDKs are thin clients over the same anonymous endpoints, so you can always fall back to curl.
